Again and again people talk crap like the family is natural the basic part of human society. This is just a cheap trick to justify degration of of everything that doesn’t fit in this standardized modell of living. No one seems to care that nothing in our life is natural: our apartments, our food, every religion. It’s all made by humans and no one cares. Preaching natural values to us is just cheap Hypocrisy.

It’s been said before but still worth mentioning: The ones who decide and declare wars are and have been never the ones who have to take the consequences. The ones who suffer are the ones who are not included in the decisions and, by the way, also don’t benefit from it. Al long as this won’t change, the state of war won’t change. War is still a profitable business, where the people who benefit from it never take the consequences.

Our everyday live is full of constructed normalcies . Be it, the assumption that “men” or “women” behave in certain ways, the way we spend our free time, how we have fun, how often and what kinds of sex we have, how we meet our partners, the way we value our relationships, what we eat, which drugs we take and when, what we want to accomplish in our lives, how we act in certain ages, … an endless list
I don’t want to say that it’s bad to find yourself in some of the normalcies. If you like penetrative heteronormative sex, go for it, it is just as ok as hardcore BDSM Sessions with nonbinary partners or whatever turns you on (as long as it’s consensual for sure), if you like to drink your beer after work and visit an annual fair, that’s is just as ok as having a joint for breakfast* and enjoying DIY shows at shitty punk places (or taking no drugs at all of course). I wish, we could all let go with this assumptions about what is a “right” thing to do and instead of that just live up to our own needs, while still accepting, that they’re just my needs and others can be totally different. Let’s have all have a good live that makes us happy!
* we know that getting high in the morning is a privilege, but this is more about why people seem to think that's it's ok to get intoxicated in the evening and problematic in the morning

As if prisons themselves weren’t bad enough, during the last years there has been a tendency to privatize them, which leads to the same neoliberal constrains, that every privatized sector experiences. That is a big problem, because this way the conditions of detention get worse, while at the same time there is more pressure on the guards, which leads to worse treatment of the prisoners. This can be well seen in Christian Parentis Article on institutionalized use of prison violence by guards. These indefensible conditions, get even worse, when prisons are privatized and therefore forced to make profit. Also these prisons need inmates, which leads to people (in the US mainly poor young black males) get locked up für minor delinquents. This is well documented in “Amercias War On Drugs” (search youtube for it)
